Scout Advancement
Rank advancement is a very important part of Boy Scouting. During the year patrol leaders and senior scouts, under the supervision of the Scoutmaster, work with younger scouts on rank advancement.  Additional opportunities are available at summer camp, troop meetings and outings.

Boys are encouraged to earn merit badges individually or in groups.  Many of our parents are merit badge counselors. Other community members with specialized skills also serve as merit badge counselors.  Troop 110 holds a quarterly Court of Honor, where advancement is formally acknowledged.

Eagle Scouts
Troop 110 is extremely proud of its members who achieved scouting's highest rank... Eagle Scout. In the past 12 months, six of our scouts attained this lofty goal. Troop 110's success rate for its members achieving this rank is high - at nearly 30% we are significantly above the national average of 2%.

Having Fun
Like the rest of Scouting, the most important thing we do in Troop 110 is to HAVE FUN!  Scouting works because of the strong network of friends developed within the Troop.  All of this occurs while developing some of life’s most important skills.
